Ruth Eckerd Hall has spent decades building a reputation as one of Florida’s most respected performing arts organizations, with Ruth Eckerd Hall, the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, and The BayCare Sound each offering a different kind of live music experience. Press Play sees an opportunity to build on that foundation by helping turn individual concerts into lasting stories that benefit the artist, the venue, and the fans.
The idea is simple: instead of treating a concert as a single-night event, Press Play would create content around the entire experience. In the days leading up to a performance, Press Play could interview every artist on the bill, including opening and supporting acts, giving each performer an opportunity to tell their story, talk about the tour, and connect with the audience before stepping onto the stage.
On the night of the show, those conversations could become part of the venue experience. Selected interview clips could be featured before performances or between sets, while Press Play hosts interact with fans throughout the event. From there, the concept could grow into a repeatable model for other concerts and venues.

Over time, interviews, performances, photographs, fan stories, and venue appearances could become part of an evolving collection that preserves the musical history being created in Clearwater.
